Close to the Master

Guruji was here for Bhagavad Gita discourse and the Janamashtami Celebration. During this visit, I had a chance to do a lot of Swadhyay. Majority time waiting for him went into introspection, so I am sharing what I realized all the more during this amazing trip we had with HIM.

We all want to be close to the master. But one extremely important thing to realize here is that it is not the physical proximity that actually matters. I know we all love being in HIS Physical Presence, nothing can be even counted close to that. And not to forget, our constant efforts to go near him; being inside the house, to standing very next to HIM, to sitting in the nearest car, to sitting in the same car and the list is endless. We do all that to be closest to HIM. And we are not wrong, who on this planet would not want to be close to HIM.

But what I realized this time is a step further. Being close to Him physically won’t even matter if you are not close to HIM from your heart. During this visit, there were instances when I was inside the same house, standing next to him and all the amazing moments I could dream of. But there were few realizations as I said. The most amazing memory of this trip was not when I was inside the house and physically in close proximity to him but when I was sitting far away and yet could feel his presence in my heart. What I got in a session sitting far away is beyond expression. And it dawned to me that it is not just his physical presence, HE has been saying it time and again, and it is a lot more than that. Coz he is just not the body, HE is far above that. I am sure we all have had those times, where we just FEEL him, Feel Close to HIM even if we can’t see him. Hold onto those moments of life coz they are the most special ones. For these make your heart full, the sweet tears roll out, these are a gift, a gift for the tremendous love we have for him, for the amazing and wonderful longing we have.

This is a time when the realization that “You, Guru and God” are the same dawns on the experiential level. The moments like these make you realize how loved you are and how precious you are to HIM. He truly has his own ways to make you feel close.

Quoting HIM:

“You are with the Master to share the joy of the Master, to share the consciousness of the Master. For that, you have to empty your cup of what is already in it. So you share that with the Master. You share whatever you have and don't judge, "Oh, that is garbage." The Master is ready to accept any garbage of any extent. However you are, he will embrace you. He is ready to share. You only have to share from your side.”

So don’t be stuck in your ways, coz you would miss out then when he attempts to give you, an experience of life time! Of the ultimate bliss and the ultimate closeness one can feel. So empty your cup and let HIM fill the same for you coz HE knows the BEST. :)

I Never Knew !

I was just going through one of my favorite poems written by Guruji. I am putting it exactly down here:

You never know
How and when
The existence will start
Using you for its purpose

You never know
How and when
You will be filled with abundance
And you will start raining
Quenching the thirst of many

You never know
How and when
You will be full of
Fruits and shade
And travellers will take
Shelter and food from you

You never know
How and when
You will be full with
Love and light
And you will start spreading
The fragrance of beauty to everyone

You never know
How and when
The death will come
And make you deathless
And life will start
Flowing out of you

You never know
How and when.... Really !

Just reading through it makes me so full of gratitude. I really never even realized when it all started happening and each word of the poem became an experience to me. A life experience and it amazes me all the more when I read that he is already said it all. It a beautiful wonder and I can be nothing but amazed by it. I really never realized how and when and believe me neither would you realize, how and when all these amazing things start happening in your life too. Most likely they are, happening already, just a little realization. We will never know how and when life became a celebration. All I know is that we are picked by HIM and we are the lucky ones. No, the luckiest ones to be chosen and picked and pampered by the Divine itself.

Ahhh ! What a blessing ! 

Just A Thought

We live in a world where everybody is running a rat race. A race where we want to achieve more and nothing is enough.

We want to achieve more and more and more. We want more money, better house, better job, better position, better car. However much we have, we still want to achieve something more and that is probably what keeps us going.
And the higher ladder we aspire to climb, the bigger steps we take. Little do we realize that in all this running, we have forgotten to stop and relax. We have forgotten to just realize that in the process of achieving more whose achievement it is. We work hard and hard and harder but who gives us the opportunities. We may think we chose our opportunities and en-cash them but who puts a thought in the mind to make decisions.

Whatever we do, whatever we achieve we are guided by something inside us. Some magical power, which in a very subtle way makes sure that we exactly get what we need. Again, I said need and not want. There is something or someone or some power which makes sure we exactly get need we want in life. In the midst of running and achieving and more running, take out few moments and ponder upon the fact that somehow something happens and the deal is cracked; and the dreams are fulfilled; the opportunities come forward and everything ends the way it should be, may not be the way we thought :P

Lets just relax and realize we always do get the best that should come. Everything just sets in like a movie and at the end the hero wins in spite of the struggle. The only difference in the movie and life is that the director doesn't make us realize that he is directing.

The giver is giving in such a way that we think it is our achievement.

And the moment this realization dawns, one can be nothing but grateful for HE chose us to be the hero and we didn't even realize.
Take a moment to be aware and be grateful, I am sure you will be in love with movie of your life then, coz the director just makes sure that the hero wins.

Ek Baar

Ek baar haath badha kar to dekho, puri zindagi ke liye na thaam le to kehna.

Ek baar dil de kar to dekho, agar deewana na banaa dia to kehna.

Ek baar kadam badha kar to dekho, manzil tak na pahunchaya to kehna.

Ek baar maang kar to dekho, puri duniyaa tumpe na lutaa di to kehna.

Kya soch mei baithe ho, kaun apna hai kaun paraaya,

Ek baar apna banaa kar to dekho, pura jahaa tumhe apna na banaa le to kehna.

Ek baar nazre mila kar to dekho, tumpe beintihaan pyaar na barsaae to kehna.

Ek baar wishwas kar ke to dekho, duniya tumhaari na ho jaae to kehna.

Ek baar pyaar kar ke to dekho, duniya jannat na ban jaae to kehna.

Feeling Blessed

In this life, everyone has been born for a purpose and everyone is important. There is not even a single creature that is not important. And, everyone ends up doing their own tasks, their own things. We live in an interdependent society and no one individual can perform all the duties. No one can do all the roles. Hence everyone becomes all the more important.

When we do a role we for sure miss on the understanding, the intricacies of other roles but everyone is required to do something and that makes everyone important.
So each one has a purpose of life and is supposed to serve that purpose. And all this is amazingly taken care of.

A maid is required, a plumber is required, a mechanic is required, a postman is required, a watchman is required, a doctor is required, an engineer is required, a policeman is required, a guard is required, a school teacher is required, a professor is required.

Each and everyone have a purpose and each and everyone is required. Now a doctor can never do what a plumber can. And an engineer can never do what a cook can. Hence everyone learns in the life according to their roles and purpose of life.

Now knowing this, I feel more blessed to be chosen on this path. We may be missing on different roles and responsibilities of life. May be we missed learning some lessons, maybe we never faced some situations, we never solved some problems, we never enjoyed some moments in life.

But, what compensates it all is what we are chosen to do in life. What we do is by far the best we could. To be able to live with the purpose of bringing Smiles on faces, giving a hope to have a happy life, bringing transformations is the best that could be done. What could have been better? We for sure have not chosen these ourselves. We are in fact the picked ones, the luckiest ones. This is not a fruit of any action but for sure amazing Grace that has been poured on us by our master. We are blessed to be the one, the one who was picked.

Know this and feel blessed. King of the world is surely in our hearts, there is nothing to fear.
